At this point in the course we have:
-discussed the myths of aging
-defined ageism and stereotypes
-watched the movie "On Golden Pond" and discussed the movie in light of stereotypes and myths
-handed in an assignment on the movie
-defined social science/qualitative research and the inquiry process
-created and distributed a survey
-organized the results of our inquiry into a presentation
Here is a look at the up coming week
Tuesday Feb 18 - Finishing touches on the presentation and begin class presentations
Wednesday - Handwashing, germs
Thursday - Medical specialties in gerontology, 24 hour clock
Friday - Begin learning the bones of the human skeleton
