PAF 20 Nov 19 - 23

Last week I neglected to click "publish" and as a result there was nothing on the blog.  Here is a recap: - regular fitness workouts - the killer "leg" workout in the hallway with lots of squats, the superfoods project on Wednesday for nutrition, and the Y visit on Friday.

Here is a look at this week - we will begin fitness testing again - look forward to the beep test :) and the weather is so nice we can do one more 12 minute run outside.  Wednesday we will be again working on your superfood project and presentation on the ipads and beginning to do presentations partway through the class.  You have the assignment sheet with all the requirements and remember my presentation on Quinoa....that is exactly what you have to do.

Friday is a trip to the Y again...remember you second pair of shoes

HHS Nov 19 - 23

I must apologize for last week - I did not press "publish" and therefore nothing was posted.  Here is a quick look back at last week and ahead to this week:

Last week - we discussed polygamy, "roots", the impact of culture, watched the movie My big fat Greek Wedding and then moved on to conflict and divorce

This week:

Monday - finish up divorce
Tuesday - Relationship violence
Wednesday - Free Choice vs Arranged Marriage and cohabitation
Thursday - either finish up these topics if we get bogged down one day or begin the next unit - Parenthood
Friday - Would like to have the Unit test - remember we talked about that last Monday

We could always have the test on Thursday if that is a better day, however I would like to stay away from Thursday as that is a Lambton day
