Food and Nutrition - Details for Thursday's test

Your test is out of 48 marks and as indicated in class today you need to review the following:
-canada's food guide
-food safety - danger zone, food storage, cross contamination
-measuring techniques
-information from the nutrition videos we watched - the fact we do not eat enough fresh fruits and veggies and eat too much fat, sugar and salt
-research - qualitative vs quantitative and types of questions to ask on a survey
-methods of advertising
-meal planning, how to do it and why it is important
-nutrition labelling

There are 6 multiple choice questions for 6 marks
There are 12 marks for fill in the blanks
There are 8 marks for matching words to the correct definitions
There is a case study about meal/menu planning 17 marks
There are 5 marks for short answer questions
